About SMTP (E-mail) Alerts

The SMTP configuration screen asks you for a "computer id" this number, name, or whatever you wish to input is placed at the end of the subject line you have specified.

Ex.
Specified subject line: FileChecker E-mail Notification
Specified computer id: 12-9
What the subject line will look like on a sent e-mail:
"Filechecker E-Mail Notification ~ 12-9"

This allows ease of determining where the alerts have come from, and also will help in sorting of notification e-mails, if such activity takes place.
